Returns & Exchanges
You can return any unused items (In their original condition) with proof of purchase within 28 days of receiving your order for a full refund.
Refunds will be issued within 14 days of receiving the goods back. Refunds will be applied to the original method of payment.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused, in a saleable condition and in the same condition that you received it. We may ask you to pay (or reduce your refund) if you’ve reduced the value of the item/s, e.g if you wore shoes outside and scuffed the soles.
Where ever possible please return item/s in the original packaging. Please make sure the item/s are packaged in a way that means they don't get damaged.
The Alternative Shark Ltd can ask you to pay if something gets damaged because it wasn’t packaged properly.
Please note: Slight irregularities in products are common and not considered defective.
Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer.
We can exchange an item within 28 days after purchase if it meets the conditions of our returns policy listed above.
If your item develops a fault within 30 days of purchase, we’ll give you a exchange or refund with proof of purchase.
- A fault means the item is:
- Broken or damaged (not of satisfactory quality)
- Unusable (not fit for purpose)
- Not what was advertised or doesn't match the seller's description.
Refunds (if applicable)
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify if there's any problems with you return.
Late or missing refunds (if applicable)
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.
Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.
If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org.

Unless the item is damaged or not what you ordered you are responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.
Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.
It’s a good idea to get a certificate of posting from Royal Mail when you post your item/s back to us, you can use this to prove you posted the item/s.
- Please note that if you return products which are outside our returns policy or if you don’t have proof of purchase, we’re unable to process a refund, so please keep your receipt or order confirmation.
This does not affect your statutory rights.
